Research Subject(s)
My research topics are sediment transport along river and bar morphology.
Recently, I am interested in the relationships between flow velocity distribution and characteristics of sediment movement. Therefore, I measure flow of them by making full use of PIV and PTV. In addition, I do field observations to grasp a characteristic of particle size distribution of the riverbed materials in an upstream area of the Ooi River and the other rivers. I try to investigate sediment flow along river.
Key Words
Sediment transport / Bar morphology / PIV / Image analysis for distribution of sediment diameter
