This Co-Creation Research Laboratory aims to drive the research, development, and societal implementation of the "AI for Disaster Science Platform" (hereinafter "AI4DS Platform"). By synergizing specialized disaster management artificial intelligence with a disaster digital twin that integrates Earth observation data, human mobility/social dynamics data, and physics-based simulations, the platform enables precise hazard and risk prediction for natural disasters—including earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, and volcanic eruptions—as well as the generation and validation of hypotheses for strategies to enhance disaster resilience and recovery.
