Research Subject(s)
My main research topic is slope disasters and geo-disasters. In particular, I study on numerical simulations and modeling of slope disasters, such as slope failures, soil avalanches, rockfalls, landslides, and snow avalanches. I am also interested in probabilistic risk analysis of natural disasters.

Studies on numerical simulations of slope disasters
To prevent and reduce the damage caused by slope disasters, I study on numerical simulations and those usage environment for practical use. Because various kinds of disasters, such as slope failure, soil avalanche, rockfall and snow avalanche, are categorized in slope disasters, I use different methods depending for each disaster.

Studies on risk analysis of natural disasters
Probabilistic risk analysis is one of the important research topics in the research field of disaster sience. I study on a probabilistic risk analysis which is aided by numerical simulations.
