MoUs with National and Local Governments

IRIDeS has entered into a Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with multiple local governments in the Tohoku region affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake to contribute to their recovery and building back better. To date, we have concluded agreements with 15 local governments in Miyagi and Iwate prefectures. We have also made MoUs with Sendai Regional Headquarters, Japan Meteorological Agency, a town affected by a more recent flooding disaster, and a disaster museum managed by Iwate Prefecture.
