The Tsunami Engineering Research Lab at IRIDeS, Tohoku University and the Regulatory Standard and Research Department, Secretariat of Nuclear Regulation Authority have developed the “Tsunami Trace Database” and made it open to the public for safety evaluation of disaster-related matters including nuclear power plants.
Statistical Database on the Great East Japan Earthquake
IRIDeS provides comprehensive data on the Great East Japan Earthquake derived from national/local governments and private organizations to share the lessons of the disaster.
Architecture and Urban Design for Disaster Risk Reduction Database NEW!
The database, titled "Architecture and Urban Design for Disaster Risk Reduction Database" (Arch-DRR DB), is openly available to the public to provide information on Architecture and Urban Design corresponding to disasters around the world. Currently, we are mainly offering information related to the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, but the amount of data available will increase in the future. We hope that this database will be used by domestic and foreign stakeholders, researchers, tourists, and school educators involved in Disaster countermeasures.
